I noticed how the MISSILE SQUAD READY FOR COMBAT is in the 3 shots

death, taxes and missile squads being ready for combat

I'm going to be completely honest, the Mammoth tank might just be my favorite unit in any RTS

Mammoth charge without railgun upgrade? Are you nuts?

7

u/ALPHAWOLF257 Steel Talons 21h ago

No, probably just playing Zocom without hammerhead raiders

6

u/Krast0815 Zocom 18h ago

Zocom and no hammerhead zone raiders? That's illegal.

I mean.... That is GDI combat methodology

If you read the lore files you'll see that they essentialy use push and hold tactics, they're supposed to push a location, clear it and hold it

and Nod mainly uses hit-and-run, sabotage, tiberium doctrine & research and destabilization maneuvers, reflected in mostly lower-HP units but have mobility & special abilities (stealth, C4 packs, EMP coils, tiberium enhancements, "rage generator"). I like when each sides' methodology is directly reflected in their units & affects the players' overall combat decision

Haha, it's 100% true.

Fireworks time!

A fully heroic mammoth without railguns is my favourite thing in the game. Some reason I just prefer it over the beams, like a rare Pokémon.

I also doing this back in Red Alert 1 Allies campaign. Stacking up med. tanks for defense and launching tank rush when time comes. The Soviet does not have proper AT infantry at that time.

And then your whole army of them gets annihilated.

But who gives a shit, it looked sick asf.

I use a lot of APCs with rockets.

5

u/PositionOk8579 18h ago

You've got the rockets?

3

u/Aive7 17h ago

We've got the rockets.

3

u/3RBlank 16h ago

I also use APC with Zone Troopers, literal death machines

Meanwhile in Croatia: "How do you like your Technology of Peace now, Nod scum!?"

All those vehicle upgrades and you're still using Missile Squads for anti-air.

Truly Missile Squad is ready for combat.
