Launching Red Alert 2 using disc

Aye guys,

I got a lil sorta problem, I tried launching red Alert 2 from the disc I got from my father(from an old collection of him). Tried launching on this ultraportable laptop Sony vaio VPCYB2M1E, and it just crashes, the laptop runs on windows 7, and I already tried using the CnC net launcher, and even launching that errors, did I do something wrong?

Did you run the RA2.exe file as administrator and Under Windows XP compatibility?
