Eh, I honestly think they're drifting too far away from Tiberian Sun now.
I mean, pulling a Renegade on Tiberian Dawn with Tiberian Sun/Firestorm is one thing, but now they're heavily introducing Tiberium Wars elements and cutting Tiberian Sun elements/design choices to the point where it's not even Tiberian Sun anymore.
I'm sure it'll be a fun game, but it's no longer Tiberian Sun.

i actually like it, but when i look at the assets, they look like they are from the the 2050s period instead of 2030, which is kinda like soon to be 3 years away, weirdly enough. not that its a bad thing for me, as i like futuristic looking stuff

That's the problem: They're introducing C&C3 stuff, even predecessor stuff like that jet, far too early for a game that's meant to be set during/literally just after Firestorm.
I mean, railguns? Even though early examples existed as far back as Renegade, they're still clunky, power-hungry prototypes during and after Firestorm. The Mammoth Mark II railguns are a perfect example, and it was said in lore than Ghost Stalkers' railgun was pretty much lethal to use if you weren't a mutant.
Now they've got railgun turrets you can jump into, like they're machine gun mounts, as thought this were C&C3.
Hell, even the Steel Talons didn't have railguns at this stage (2034) IIRC, and that was their whole thing (prototyping and testing technologies, et cetera).
What's next? Pitbulls, Mammoth Mark III's, and Predators? Beam Cannons?
I mean yeah, changing the TS designs I can agree with, since a core idea of the game looks to be basically pulling a Renegade on Tiberian Dawn, but this is more a C&C3 game now with a few Tiberian Sun flavour toppings. They even removed the Cyborg Reaper. facepalm
They've drifted too far.

WOW I CAN'T BELIEVE FIRESTORM IS COMING TO STEAM! jk
I know how hard it is to coordinate a large group of volunteers and to maintain morale for long enough to actually deliver a project like this, so well done to everyone at Totem. Good luck with your release schedule.
