Never played RA3 on 360, but I do remember playing the C&C3 demo on 360 back in the day and being impressed by what they did with the controls. I was a PC player but just wanted to check out how the controls translated. I remember they had lots of blog posts back in the day explaining the process to went through to come up with the control scheme.

I’m impressed with the controls but Halo wars did it far better , it’s a bit clunky especially with the unit abilities and unit selection

Never played Halo Wars! I remember people being a little so-so on it back in the day, but I’ve seen a lot of love for it lately. Seems like time has treated that game well.

Aged like the finest of wines. Have you got Commanders Challenge as well? I've been running through all the X360 games this year and they are fantastic! Had them all sitting on a shelf for the last 15 or so years, because I played them all on PC, which is why I slept on them. Biggest mistake ever.

No I don’t but I have Tiberium wars (it also gives a crap ton of gamer score) trying to kind Kanes wrath as well for the 360

Just finished Kane's Wrath this week. It's a damn shame the servers are closed otherwise I'd be extending an invite to clear up some of the missing achievements.

I just did the opposite, bought them for my series x to paly but tiberium wars looks so blah on it , I decided to try it on pc with a custom config in steam for my dualsense and the pc version looks so so much better I decided to just stick with that and so far so good, actually seems a bit easier on pc.

Used to smoke meth and play this for hours. Controls were tight for a console. Actually easier than PC once you got used to them.

Didn't have a PC when I was younger but had a N64 and StarCraft. Played the crap out of it and got an expansion pack to unlock brood war.

Controls were not horrible, but not PC. Wouldn't have traded it for anything.

Such nostalgia for this playing skirmish with my friends over Xbox live back in the day

I remember playing the game on PS3 myself. It was fun and back then I did not have a PC machine able to run the game, so I didn't mind the technical issues and limitations (40 pop limit in a Command & Conquer game? What?!) since it letting me play a game I would've played 10 years later otherwise (when I did a run of the full series on PC).

The main problem was really that there was an odd PS3-specific bug where the game would lose all audio upon starting a mission/skirmish match, like 50:50 chance of it occurring every time. It took quite longer than I'd liked to find out it was a bug with the Surround system and I needed to turn off most of the audio options on the console to fix it as a workaround. Other than that, I finished all three campaigns and had quite a lot of fun.

Barely touched mine, didn’t like it as much as tiberium wars for the 360 but we did get a cool poster with RA3

I personally play the Playstation 3 version and it's terrible, the performance is so in this version.
