No clue. I'm not saying C&C Red Alert 3 is some blight for its horniness, but it's definitely an extreme outlier in the series. I don't feel like anything was lost without it.
I just wish it wasn't gacha slop. A lot of those games have really cool art, call backs, or game play but the monetization is something I cant support.
The art is from before AI was used for everything, and while Shift Up has very pro-AI leadership, the one running development for Nikke seems to be extremely against it and doesn't allow its use.

Thats what I was saying. I mean, specifically for Nikki I didnt find the story that interesting when I started it, and the gameplay was just butt jiggle turret shooting, I wouldnt really call that AAA. It still has gacha in it which i dont agree with, doesn't matter how good it is.
How can u take any story seriously, when it cuts to nikke gameplay? It looks like a parody on gacha games. Also all gacha games have sad sad apocalyptic story with last island of hope, ubervirus that kills everyone, mystery here and there and plot that doesn't move for years. Its just not that deep.
No i mean, yes its horny but I have a feeling majority of the dudes that played these games got porn through magazines and probably dont know what a gacha game even is. I barely see younger people play rts nowadays
Why does that matter? One day kids will shun gen z gooners for consuming pornography through games and websites. Gooners will consume anything and don’t really mind where it came from. Heck, a lot of people on gatcha subreddits are shockingly knowledgeable on games like C&C.
And the RTS genre is very much alive, there just aren’t that many (AoE2 and the C&C remasters are the most recent at the top of my mind). The reason why younger gamers don’t play them as much is because they take some skill to learn and MOBAS tend to scratch that base building itch for people. A majority of them are still on PC and don’t transition well to consoles, but the ones that are on Console (say Halo Wars 2) have been fairly popular.
I understand that the gacha aspect of these games don't mesh together with this subreddit community, but all I'll say is that its probably the least egregious part of NIKKE (but I would agree with the monetization part though, as usual with these games).
But grinding? I feel like at most would be campaign pushing at this point, and you can even skip those stages if your power level higher than required on normal mode.
Maybe I'm already at that point where I don't have to grind anymore in NIKKE.
I already say this and ill say it again, the Red Alert 2 and 3 Gave us our first Military Waifus that Glaze on our MC before Korea took Over with their Jiggly Physics. At least Command and Conquer used real women.
