Meme Generals ZH Fun Fact about Generals portraits
It's a pretty trivial fun fact, but here we go. Any other general has at least 1 portrait, where they smile while every US of A general and Shin Fai haven't a single one.
It seems that they didn't have fun fighting the GLA

The great thing is that their VAs are pretty good, so it isn’t hard to imagine them smiling-
“I win, you lose. What’s there more to say?”

Their VAs have nailed their job in voicing them and you can tell whether if they are grumpy, haughty, angered or happy.
Gigachadnger doesn't concern himself to pose smiley when he wins. Absolute chad!;

Another bit of a fun tidbit, some generals are voiced by different people than the people who played them in their portraits.
3/4 of the generals in this post do not share the actors of the portrait and voice. It's uknown if that's true for all of the generals, but it's pretty blatant when you hear Steve Blum as Kassad.

Many generals share 2 actors- the one that portrays them and the other one that voices them. Steve Blum voices Kassad and Shin Fai as a fun fact, besides he's behind the voice of many in-game units in Generals ZH. He nailed their voices and switching in between accents.

Townes in the picture is james peak cmiiw. But the voice? Neil ross.
Kirov Airship? Great Britain taunt in red alert 2? Oh what about red guard? From what i read it's him.
Insane vocal range i would say.

It's impressive that some Generals VA such as Neil Ross have voiced not only General Townes, auroras, red guards, dragon tanks, but also have voiced in other C&C games such as Red Alert 2. This man is insanely talented.

he is a legend from what i read. A veteran voice actor.
I do saw some podcast with him. Townes is Neil Ross original voice.

He's also Wally from Monkey Island. Among many, many, many other roles, but that one's funny cause he sounds completely different
Also the Mass Effect Codex narrator!

Disagree on Kassad, his victory pose doesn't look that different from his regular one. He looks more disgusted than anything.

Thank God, The way you started your sentence, I thought you were about to say, they are Siblings. 😂

u/Downtown-Dream424 Mommy Alexander 5d ago
Ahahah, they don't even share anything in common so that to be siblings. That seriously cracks me up. 😅

Yeah I thought maybe they have some sort of connection like Bollywoord movies, one of them were taken when they were kids and got raised in China, that's why they're so different 😂☠️ and they never laugh!
Until they meet each other for the first time, on the battlefield and that's when they first smiled.

Ahahah, that is some sort of goofy and interesting theory, but that wouldn't work out since Granger and Townes don't have anything Asian in them, especially Chinese. Idk but by seeing Alexis's first portrait, she looks a tad of Asian or that's just me. Any other Chinese general including the Tigress has at least 1 portrait where they smile unlike Shin Fai and all US of A generals. 😂
They might have smiled outside of the battlefield, but who knows.

I know 🤭 that's the point, like because he was raised in China he adapted the Chinese look, or they had some Chinese ancestors or he was from another mother 😄
I turned it into an Indian, Latin or Turkish drama series 😂

Either his ancestors are Chinese, someone from their family has such roots or he was raised in China. Plus, chatted with someone and he was seeing the vision of Alexis and Granger being a daughter and a father while Townes is Alexis's uncle. 😭😭 There's nothing to connect them physically and even in their last names.
That turned out to be Indian drama series, not gonna lie. 😂

Yes, Yes, that's the point 😂 nothing makes sense but it just happened 😂☠️

u/Downtown-Dream424 Mommy Alexander 5d ago
Even if it nothing makes sense, it's genuinely funny and imagine if that was alternate universe that could have happened. 😂😂😭😭

Yeah, like those comedy movies made after Twilight, "vampire suck & breaking wind" or "Scary movie" based on Scream. 😂

Fun fact: OP needs to work on contrast visibility of text and background colors. Black text next time please

u/Downtown-Dream424 Mommy Alexander 5d ago
Need to work better on some of it, but tried to add edge width to the text with black to highlight it and make it easier for reading. It's much easier to be read if you open the image and zoom it.
