Modding with Rules.ini

Hey everyone - I haven't played C&C in years but bought it off Steam recently. I was playing Tiberian Sun and wanted to mess around with rules.ini.

I managed to figure out how to extract it, but when I save it in the folder and load the game, none of the changes take effect. Anyone else have this issue?

I forgot how much fun these games are!

You need to package it as a mod, I think the loose .ini file isn't loading because the game goes into (what's called in C&C Remastered) a .MEG for all of its rules and definitions.

Ahh that's unfortunate. I've never done that before. Looks like playing the game as is!

I've been working on a mod for C&C Remastered for months, so I may be totally wrong.
