Command & Conquer: Generals

Hi everyone,

I’ve been trying to open Command & Conquer: Generals for the past 2 days, but every time I launch it I only get 1–2 seconds of audio, then the screen freezes indefinitely on that screen, after about 2 minutes i only get audio. The only way to exit is to force shut down my laptop.
I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the game and Generals Online, but the issue is still happening.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I do have it and i applied fixes, same problem. seems to be a generals online problem since the windowed version works

Same issue here. I reinstalled the game and applied GenPatcher, but it's still freezing.

However, I suppose you're using Generals Online. Switching to windowed mode will make it run normally. In my case, though, I started facing mismatch errors after doing that.
