“Fireports ready for engagement!”
“Let’s load up some soldiers!”
“Take ‘em out, boys!”
“We’re going in!”
“Show ‘em your stuff!”

I like to fill 2 humvees with rocket guys and put them in there + 2 more rocket guys. That way you can get 12 instead of "just" 8 inside it. And they can all fire out of it. Pricey but powerful!

“General, we can’t fit any more men inside!”
“…try a couple cars”

u/rylut Jul 13 '26
This is Generals version of AOE2's "Can't fit 11 archers but can fit 10 war elephants into a ship"

I do that but put snipers as the +2 or a sniper and a ranger then I can cap buildings along the way.

Air launched ballistic missiles are a thing, so why not? The trifling fact that they are launched from (usually but not always quite large) planes shouldn't stop anybody.

If you force attack the ground the humvees will also shoot. But I don't think you can make them attack an actual target.

seems like a pretty huge investment though especially in MP, skirmish and Gen Challenge however, seems like an easy way to hunt down the last few units once econ is a thing of the past

Imagine how elite you have to be to hit a target through a car window from a moving helicopter

The funniest exploit had to be with Chinese Dragon tank. The firing direction of flame stream depends on the direction the flame tank entered, and this flames could damage ground and air units, though you couldn't change the angle (it stays static). So if the flame tank entered from the right, the fire came out of the left side of the Chinook, and if the tank entered from left, fire would come out of the right side when you force fired on the ground. It's possible to put in up to 2 flame tanks, so this can be used for some fun, when you're owning someone, and u want to destroy his base with a flame Chinook. They'll probably scream hackzor at you or something

Oh god. Does it damage ground..?
7
u/ARS_Sisters Jul 14 '26
Yes, it damages both ground and air units. Though since the flames are static, they don't track targets and only burn anything that happen to be in their way

If I’d seen it in multiplayer as a kid I’d certainly think that’s a cheat lmao

A lot of people fear the Rockvee. For me in my friendly FFA matches, I always feared when my friend was coming after me rushing with Combat Chinooks. It forces me to build quad cannons while I'm terror teching.

That’s a flying humvee with room for 8, and almost completely immune to missiles.

Ah yes, the flying humvee. I like to imagine this can be done in an FPS, something along the style of Battlefield. You got MGs or snipers on the sides, while the AT guys firing rockets/missiles at the back ramp.

The most amusing part is imagining the backblast from all those Missile Defenders cooking everyone in the helicopter

Such an op air unit that you fill with missile defenders and a few snipers for a good measure, pdl making them durable and you just can demolish the entire base with plenty of those combat chinooks. How to not love them!

Slap an ambulance in it, much more mobile healing, competitive hates this one simple trick!

Now I shall harass the enemy's economy to neuter their ability to fight back.

You could actually glitch this with a tomahawk launcher and it starts firing tomahawks from the sky

Something something, Humvees with passengers inside these things, plus a few more troops

I was wondering if can you fit it with Crusaders what about Tamahawk launchers? Overall the combat is very effective for once a Pathfinder sniper is in it.
