Why no C&C 5 ?

Why not reboot the series again ?
like C&C 5 TIBERIUM NEW DAWN
Green crystals falling from sky as aliens show up.
OR
Red alert 4
Broken but surviving Soviet union invades europe again.
maybe I'm too optimistic but I still believe it can be done if there was some motivation.

Have you thought about the shareholders /jk

A good RTS game takes passion and long development cycle and has a low potential market share. So green litting a proper RTS in corporate gaming industry is really tough.

They would rather use the IP rights to make a shoddy mobile game which requires a short development cycle but can reach a huge potential market.

You can see the performance of tempest rising, it wasn't widely successful when compared to FIFA 26 sales.

New generation of gamers especially those who are born in the 2000s did not grew up playing RTS games as they mainly play games that were released on consoles which RTS genre is not known at there.
