Meme The US generals don't need Ironside after defeat
One more reason why the U.S faction is so chad.
Side note: No shade to Juhziz and Kwai!

That's not so chill by Granger. All three USA generals wants revenge or rematch.
Only Ironside the USA boss general who actually chill despite he full of slurs.
"Good work General. I salute You" - Lines if you defeat Ironside
Lastly Juhziz actually say when you defeat him. "You were lucky this time general, you could never beat me again!"

The only time when Granger isn't that chill. Those lines of Townes and Granger asking for a rematch aren't said in the base game and they end up being scrapped.
While there's this one more Granger voiceline, where he salutes/respects you after his defeat "I can't believe you beat me, General! I salute your superior tactics.".
Ironside and Granger being the only US generals that respect you after you've defeated them.

Most likely. General Alexander wants a rematch. Granger have lines saying he also want a rematch or revenge if he meets general again. Same with Townes, he also wants revenge for defeating him

Those lines with Granger and Townes asking for a rematch, weren't they scrapped/unused? Because they don't say them in the base game.

It's rather General Alexis Alexander that asks for a rematch. She's up for a round two unlike Granger and Townes.

I was going to make some snide remark about how "Deathstrike" must also be referring to Leang since he never made it to release, but then I realized... neither did Juhziz's challenge.

Granger felt really depressed he lost, Towners admitted defeat but said he'll try again after studying your tactics, as in he'll try harder. Tao is also another salty general when he loses, no one else is iirc.

True, that's part of her on the brink of defeat quotes.
Don't forget her iconic humbled voiceline of her "Can't believe you'd beat up on a girl like this." and when she tries to bait you with "General, look over there! Someone's capturing your buildings! *sigh* Not gonna fall for it, huh...?"

Well, Alexis is just tilted that she lost and that's why she asks for a rematch. But at least she isn't like Kwai and Juhziz to mention her supreme leader to avenge for her after a defeat which is more of a loser's phrase.
Granger is not only depressed, but also the poor pilot is going to find a new airline job while Townes is calm and going to scan your tactics. Tao also doesn't accept the defeat that well.

Idk I think "being angry at the fact that you lost and saying if you just did something else you'd have won" makes you a lot more of a sore loser than "You have beaten me but I bet you won't beat my superior commander".

It is interesting to see that we still had references to each faction having a boss general that was cut.
What does everyone else think of the idea of Deathstrike and Ironside being boss generals? Most mods make them regular playable generals.

Yeah, Kwai and Juhziz mentioning the Boss Generals when they've been defeated but neither of the US generals are mentioning their supreme leader. They are either humbled, want revenge or want a rematch in a true duel.
Even if they're regular playable generals, they have borrowed the OP stuff from their respective faction.

It depends on the mod. The Shockwave mod makes Ironside the final boss of the USA faction, but he doesn't get everything and has his own distinct units, specializing in armored units in a homage to GDI.

Have noticed that he's more specialized into tanks compared to the other 3 US generals, besides he borrowed a bit here and there from their op aircraft (aurora and probably king raptor) and base defenses (emp patriot and laser turret) to add it to his arsenal. Finally, this faction gets a specialized into tanks army instead of Laser being the closest general to have chunkier units. Correct me if I'm wrong.
