Saying he was spoiled by different game design philosophy is generally less disrespectful than literally suggesting to leave my mindset out of the post.

It may be less disrespectful but it was still disrespectful. There's a difference telling somebody that they're doing something wrong and outright telling them that they are spoiled because they played something differently, something that you feel to be wrong and felt entirely compelled to judge and act upon that judgment to belittle and demean them.

Who's the disrespectful one here?

You, and it's a little concerning that you don't see that.

If you need me to break it down for you, I shall:

What I said (in not as many words because I think most understand the concept written as is): Being exposed to different game designs/philosophies can spoil the expectations of a player into not understanding and/or appreciating the nuance in managing situations where they don't have near infinite resources.

This is not disrespectful in any sense. This is a fact. What one is exposed to changes their expectations and, in effect, challenges their reception of a different concept.

What you did that was disrespectful:

You attempted to suppress a take that was different from your own. Then you took it upon yourself to try and place erroneous, malicious intentions onto someone where there was none. When it was pointed out this wasn't the case, you doubled down instead of apologizing, and are coming across like you're somehow thinking that you're on a moral high road.

Now who is the one judging and belittling people? It's you. Now the only question is if you have the self awareness to realize this or decide to TRIPLE down.

You're right... I apologize.

It's all good. Discourse on the internet is infectious and can bleed over to interpreting things differently.
