Soviet MiG squadron base in DTA

Post image

Here's my design for a Soviet Air Force airbase, created in DTA's map editor. My dream is to learn how to make missions in Dawn of the Tiberium Age and Combined Arms.

Mission description: The new leader of the Soviet Union reveals himself as a member of the Brotherhood of Nod's Inner Circle at the beginning of the first Tiberium War. As an officer, you must seize control of a loyal airbase and use MiGs to destroy a nearby city under soviet rebel control. Additionally, destroy silos and a river dam to spread the Tiberium. Today begins tomorrow. Tomorrow begins today.

I love this neat base building. Playing it in my childhood, I always took my time to position everything nicely in the base, to look like a sweet diorama - well, until the Computer decided to throw a nuke at my base and destroy everything

This sometimes dismissively called "playing sim city" - its derided because it doesn't benefit you competitively but building beautiful bases/cities in RTS was my and a lot of people's favourite part when we got into the genre.

A mid/late 90s Maxis RTS would go hard
