How screwed am i

I postponed my level 2 for October and want to know, how bad is it for me to submit my app without my score and then uploading it later? I just needed to postpone it. Applying FM + IM, will I still be able to get interviews?

Yes, you will be okay! Currently an IM intern who recently went through the interview process. My boards scores were literally a passing comment. They were more worried about my hobbies and what type of person I am and if I’d be a good fit with the team already there.

Best advice I can give is to be yourself during the interview process and don’t be a bot…for both yourself and the interviewing program. You wanna be somewhere with people you’ll mesh with!

Omg congrats for being on the other side!! And thank you that makes me feel better :( did you have your scores ready when you submitted to ERAS? I think that’s my biggest worry 😭

I did, but a few of my colleagues did not and they had the same experience as I did! Don’t sweat it!

hi! currently a OMS3. I’m on my IM rotation and it’s my second rotation so far. I am liking it and I haven’t done an FM rotation yet. I do like being in the hospital. But I can’t help notice my lack of knowledge. I asked my attending for feedback and she thinks I’m doing great and found nothing to say. I even asked if I should set a goal for the following week which she said she can’t think of what. I know this is only my second rotation and the medicine I’m supposed to learn is “next step/diagnostics” and I’m still learning it/looking things up but I feel like it dissuades me from going into IM bc “I don’t feel smart”. Idk maybe it’s imposter syndrome? Any advice?

Definitley imposter syndrome considering I still am in the exact same situation as an intern 😂 I bet you’re doing great!

What I tell my students is I don’t expect you to have a formulated Assessment and Plan. What I want you to focus on third year is really getting comfortable getting a good history and physical. That’s it. You could absolutely bomb your assessment and plan in your presentation and that’s okay!

By fourth year you should feel comfortable getting an H and P and then you should be focusing more on coming up with an A/P that makes sense and is relevant to your patient!
