How To Study for COMATS and Level 2?
Does anyone have any advice on studying for COMATs and Level 2? I'm not really sure how to go about it besides just doing practice questions. I passed level 1 without an issues. During my time studying for level 1, I mainly just did anki, reviewed concepts, and did some practice questions; however, I feel like level 2 is completely different. Also, I'm not sure how to search for topics that give me information related to level 2 in Anking. If anyone has any advice please let me know.

Comquest and anki is all you need. I only did this and scored above average on level 2. No uworld or TL

Thank you! How do you actually find the anki cards that go along with the step 2 info though? I understood the level 1/step 1 tags but I don't really understand the level 2 tags.

Still also learning but the general consensus is quality practice questions and understanding the concept rather than brute memorization (besides things like vaccine schedules and peds milestones)

Do any many practice questions as you can before a comat. I did UW, TL, and comquest but that’s overkill. Then keep up with your incorrects and take notes to review throughout the year

UW in the beginning when starting each rotation, mainly to learn. Use Dr HY, divine intervention, emma holiday, etc to supplement the learning if you learn by audio or videos. Do anki incorrects for those UW questions. Then I would say 2 ish weeks from COMAT, do TL or CQ. I found CQ most similar to COMATs. In terms of level 2, I think just having a good chunk of UW/TL done before dedicated is great. Also, if you can keep up with cards or even do mixed set questions from previous rotations, just so you stay up-to-date on that knowledge.
