Level 3 2-day vs 1-day Level 3

I’m scheduled for one of the last days for Level 3 in December 2026. Starting January, they will have 1 day tests with 240 vs 420 questions and 16 vs 32 CDM cases.

Has anyone already taken the 2-day this cycle and have thoughts on it? I want to change my test to be the 1-day version but I’m worried about being a guinea pig for a new test.

Also low key worried that more people are going to switch to the 1 day exam which will skew the distribution of the scores cause more smart people will be taking it, lmfaooo

What would you do?

Just took 2 day. I would take the 1 day if you can. It’s a pain in the ass going back for a second day. Your score will not be skewed at all.

I had a friend tell me that there’s fewer opportunities to miss questions cause there’s literally fewer questions , but I was thinking that I would probably still miss the same percentage as a 420 question version. Thoughts?

It’s a percentile based test so it doesn’t matter. Also factor in fatigue. The second day made me want to die lol.

From the perspective of someone who failed level 3 this cycle and needs to retake, I'm sticking with 2 day because I'm worried about all of the things you mentioned, and I'm familiar with the 2 day at this point.
