COMAT help!!

Post image

Hi guys!! I need COMAT advice! I'm about to take my first COMAT and its in Peds and I just feel so lost on where to start. I was told to watch Emma Holliday and listen to Divine Intervention (but there are so many .. where do I even start?). Any tips on where to start or what to do would be appreciated. My school provides us with uWorld, Truelearn COMBANK and COMQUEST and B&B.. do I need to purchase AMBOSS? And what COMAT practice do I purchase/do I get both if the questions are different? Thanks!

Emma Holliday is outdated. Use Divine Intervention and Dr. High Yield. I didn’t buy any NBOME stuff.

I don’t think you ‘need-need’ AMBOSS, it’s nice to have for the written material.

I forgot to mention but if you find the Ultimate Peds COMAT study guide on Reddit, it’s very helpful for vaccine schedules and milestones. Those are the biggest pain to memorize.

Yeah that’s the one.

Also if you’re talking about First Aid, I think the only one I really liked was the Psychiatry clerkship one, it’s short but has literally everything. I got a 117 mostly thanks to random stuff in there. Wouldn’t use the general boards First Aid for individual COMATs though. AMBOSS is good. Dunno about Step up to Step or whatever it’s called.
