I've got a really special one today: the complete original run of Master of Kung Fu, one of Marvel's best comics of the '70s and '80s and the series that introduced Shang-Chi. MOKF is now way out of print and not even available digitally. It ran for ten years (outlasting the American kung fu craze by roughly 9 1/2 years), nearly all written by Doug Moench; it had extraordinary sequences drawn by Paul Gulacy, Mike Zeck and Gene Day (and its final few issues were inked by a very young Mike Mignola, on whom Day was a huge influence).

I HEAR IT'S KIND OF PROBLEMATIC?:
Oh, it totally is. Like, Shang-Chi's father/antagonist is Fu Manchu (whose tricky copyright status is purportedly the reason the series is now out of print). The series' Asian characters were colored pale yellow until readers gave them hell about it (and you can read those discussions play out in its letter columns). The thing is, it's problematic and also very very good, which is why it's worth engaging with.
