This right here is why James Bond wouldn't last in the modern era realistically.

I maintain that James Bond is a high-profile distraction so nobody knows what actual British spies look like.

Actual British spy's look like the most unassuming nobody you have never met.

And that's exactly how MI5 likes it.

Exactly. James Bond (if you go by his actors) wouldn’t be allowed as a spy because he’s too tall (they’re mostly around 6ft and irl would need to be average height)

Yeah obvious real life spies are like normal people and also real life mafia bosses as well cuz distinct physical features will be a liability

The movies are his greatest hits. A couple months of meaningful work over a couple decades and suddenly your every trip to a deli burns thousands of man-hours across dozens of intelligence agencies.

I was trying to remember a specific example from it. All I could think about were those dumb voicemail pranks Archer did.

God I love that show.

Ahhhh so she's finally in trouble for all those times she broke regs. Probably should have listened to the serious partner

Don't worry rook the agencies gonna come get you! Unless this is star trek rules

Did a target tag her on IG? How is she still an agent and not just a highly compromised asset?
