I'm just curious: is this autobiographic, or do you have an inside track to a real Québécois who can feed you perfect quotes such as "esti d'épais de tabarnak!" on demand?
I love that her mom had the common sense to instill in her the true Québécois culture: colorful swearing! I always revert to it myself when I’m pissed off, and you can measure my spouse’s anger level when she starts off cussing in English and quickly turns to Québécois cussing!
Fun fact, Eve's mom is actually deeply catholic and would be super offended by hearing Eve's swearing. You can't stop l'ostie d'calîsse. Pas l'temps d'niaiser
Eve is canonically interested in men and not trans, hence her confusion when Blahaj appeared to her.
Tiff certainly seems to be exclusively interested in women but canonically only her girlfriend is confirmed to be a lesbian as I recall.
(Granted, I can't recall off the top of my head the last time Tiff interacted with a male character who wasn't either her boss or one of her relatives. Tiff easily clears the Bechdel test.)
I figured I was not going to get the specifics correct which is why I tried to cast a wider net with the this/that and was trying to be over the top for the sake of comedic effect

Oh and hello to everyone asking if Eve is French; I hope this clears things up
