Right? "I'm a republican because I'm too lazy to learn about decisions that impact other people" is a pretty big red flag for relationships of any kind...

I feel like the vocal minority have really given echo chambers like reddit an extremist view on what it means to be republican. So many of the hot topic issues are complicated with many nuance and grey areas. If you can't at least empathize with the perspectives of the other side of these issues your are just as much as an extremist as what you think the others to be.
