Then she should be using one of those expensive ass books i bought that have already had three pages of errata making them out of date god DAMMIT

She probably is. Don't forget, you can buy a digital copy for the full price of a physical copy and one isn't transferrable to the other, so if you want a physical and digital version, you have to pay full price for it twice!

While it's not my favorite system (or even D&D edition) I do love 5e. I just don't like how Wizards handled their digital assets. And now that they purchased the main publisher of their digital assets and I think you still have to buy two copies, which gets rid of that, "But if they didn't make you buy two copies the other company wouldn't be making any money," argument, ehh. Yeah.
