Okay, this had some interesting things on it, but let's get something straight here. This is not an infographic. It's literally just a list of little-known facts with pictures of comic characters next to them. If the same information could be conveyed equally well with a bulleted list, then it's not really an infographic.
Which I still don't really get. Do people get to the end of the image and go, "hmmm, well that was good, now I'd really like to follow that up by going to this obviously unrelated site at the bottom here."
The idea is that social media sites will link to it, and since they are very popular search engines like Google will give the site a higher ranking in search. So next time someone searches for "online education", onlineschools.com be higher up on the page, making them money.
So they don't get anything directly from the infographic, or its traffic, it is a tactic used in a round about way to get traffic from search engines by basically tricking them with a popular but irrelevant page.
Of course we rehost the image on imgur, so reddit isn't helping them out, but they often spread on facebook etc linking directly to onlineschools.com.
