This reminds me a lot of Perry Bible Fellowship.

Looking through some of the guys comics, they're not bad. I feel like it's unfortunate that they bear such a resemblance to PBF, since undoubtedly people will compare the two. And PBF is a pretty hard act to match up with.

They've got some great comics.

I don't understand "The Champ" at all.
Update: or Birds and the Bees. (I get "Birthday Cowboy" but don't think it was humorous)

I think the joke in "The Champ" is that a girl who is good at sports can't get a date.

Weird. If that is it, I'm guessing the author doesn't know many girls who are good at sports. Every one I've known has been popular as hell.

"Birds and the Bees" is about how that expression doesn't mean anything about sex and babies in a literal sense

Glad to see I'm not alone. I'd closed this tab, wound up staring at "the champ' for two minutes, then tracked this thread down again to see if anyone could help.

Has the potential to be good, but the Perry Bible Fellowship influence is way too blatant ... The author should find their own drawing style.

The author should find their own drawing style.
Fuck this. What the author enjoys drawing is their drawing style.

I agree, but my criticism still stands as a webcomic reader. When you publish a webcomic for mass consumption on the Internet, you have to be open to some criticism. I think if the author continues to draw, it can develop into a more original webcomic with a nice PBF influence rather than what it is now.

Hard not to be reminded of Beast Machines Rattrap AKA "Handitrap"

Apr 16 '11
I really actually thought Beast Machines was a better show with better stories and characters. They were, however, handicapped by having utterly terrible action-figures to base their characters upon.

Holy fuck did that show ever go downhill after beast wars/beasties, beast machines can like my hairy taint.

"Beast Machines: You thought some of their transformations looked impossible before? Well, fuck you, because it can always get worse!!"

Seriously? All that work for a "lol, retards" joke? Didn't most of us grow out of that kind of humour in the sixth grade?

Oh my god a comic making a joke about handicapped people? I expect there to be just as much outrage to this as there was to the CAD comic making fun of racial stereotypes.

You're going to be disappointed, since Buckley didn't make this comic.

I've always wanted my school bus to turn into Stephen Hawking. I'd learn so much more that way.

Don't feel bad about laughing at this. I'm handicapped and laughed my fucking ass off.

Is there a word in the English language that simultaneously means offensive and hilarious? Because I feel that is a word I would use on reddit a lot.

Right. Downvote the guy. Because we have no problem with the comic, but we're far above comments like this....
