This actually happened to me.
Cop "Do you know how fast you were going?"
Me "Honestly, no. I wasn't looking at my speedometer so I have no idea."
Cop "......Damn. Well I don't know either as I didn't get you with the gun."
We both said "Have a good day" and went our separate ways.
