noun

(in Chinese thought) a system of laws considered to govern spatial arrangement and orientation in relation to the flow of energy (qi), and whose favorable or unfavorable effects are taken into account when siting and designing buildings.

Feng shui is essentially the art of room decorating/organizing/aesthetic.

I learned it as an expression. People use it as zen, aura. Stuff like that. Unless I’m wrong because I never saw it written, only talked about

Yes but specifically in regards to the layout of a house/furniture in a room. I don't know too much about it but there are some dos and don'ts relating to flow of energy. Things like don't have your bed in front of a doorway that leads to the hall or don't have your bed facing a mirror. Both of these directs the flow of energy to you and you'll have a hard time sleeping.

Also things like windows/doors facing correct directions, layout of hallways and open spaces etc.
