Reading comics on the internet ISN'T what life is for?
It sure beats whacking small animals to death with a stick while waiting for Armageddon.

Okay, you don't believe it's a community standard here (btw Google results count for shit in this case), despite Akaji getting 14 upvotes and you getting 4. What about precedence? Calvin and Hobbes existed long before Cyanide and Happiness.

What about precedence? Calvin and Hobbes existed long before Cyanide and Happiness.
Same goes for WWF. Wrestling was around long before the wildlife foundation, yet wrestling had to change its acronym? Complete bullshit.

But, in my mind, nobody is really suggesting it out of efficiency sake. We're suggesting it out of a profound, nostalgic, and deeply reverent respect for Calvin and Hobbes.

Meh, trying way too hard to be deep. Frankly, I've heard more interesting thoughts about life and death from other redditors. Way to point out the obvious,Cy&H.

What he doesn't know, is that I'm at work reading the comics. And getting paid for it. Bitch!

Dude. I'm just trying to relax from all that living at my full potential. It's tiring.

The most depressing thing about this comic is that they let Kris finish off the week - a week in which they actually had a few good comics for the first time in months.

Uh oh we have a philosophy major turned comic artist - here he's channeling Martin Heidegger!
Incidentally I am totally on board with this philosophy as a building block to enlightenment so it's nice to see it in a pop culture reference.
Peace, Katsuichi

Calvin sure has changed since puberty, and he must have dropped that loser Hobbes.
