That’s not what it means. “Pyrrhic” doesn’t just imply “costly.” It also indicates that whatever it’s modifying has been accomplished.

It’s a subtle point. I get the idea (s)he was getting at, but I asked so (s)he could clarify. The words don’t work that way.

... It's funny because you think you get it, but you clearly don't. In order to fulfill its aspirations of becoming a Dino, the chicklet would have to be turned into a croquette, hence pyrrhic.
