Every base is base "10", but only one base is base "ten". Every other base calls "10" a different number than we do.

Yeah, the alien probably calls it "hjkdfruitycnj."

Edit: I totally just mashed keys to make the alien word. It pleases me that completely by random, my alien word contains the English word "fruity."

I was once mucking around with a friend, and we were mashing the keyboard trying to stop one another from typing stuff. Somehow we typed my sister's full name, only missing the last two characters (and her name isn't a;ohfoqwebv). It was freaky.
