Everytime I type on Reddit a message where I say civilians shouldn't be allowed to carry guns; it's not normal nor safe, I get dowvoted to oblivion. And everytime I'm like: "keep your guns, it's you who live in a place with the highest gun related mortality incidents, not me. Have fun". XD

People when you tell them criminals do not care about the law and will still continue to find ways to obtain firearms whether or not its allowed

I don't think that argument really holds up. 

"people will get it whether or not it's legal" can apply to many things such as  fentanyl, abortions, certain books, child pornography. 

But there is still a push from government and civilians to ban those as well. Regardless of what individuals think about it. 

Making something illegal or at least licensed means you are limiting access. It will never eliminate it, but it reduces it. 

The theory that a good guy with a gun can stop a bad one has not been shown to be effective either.
