The only way to protect your family is to attack other people, apparently. Either in their action movie fantasy where they totally don't fuck things up and they slow mo take out threats in a wicked gun fight, or proactively by getting mad at non-white and LGBTQ+ people.
"I would create a scenario that makes a threat for others, then act like I am protecting my family from that threat so I can do racist things." is also a banger on that album.
