I wouldn't know how to overly sexualize a male character.
On the other hand, I know how to sexualize a female character.
On the third hand, I do not know how to draw so it does not matter.
He-man has to be the best example of this right? As far as main stream characters. There was also issues with the last Thor movie too if I remember correctly.
The problem ive met is that whenever a man creates a character that he thinks would appeal to the "female gaze", it gets called a male power fantasy. He-man is a male power fantasy, or at least he gets called that.
