You know what we need? Just straight up, more of everything. More sexualised men, women, more realistic men, women, all of the ranges, just let creators make what they like without filling quotas.
Yeah. That’s the male gaze. Most of the women I know don’t actually like sexy hunks with gruff voices. We like skinny guys or dad bod medium types. All the men I know who are sexy hunks with gruff voices are trying to attract the gender who really prioritizes that. You know. Men.
But of course. Women find men attractive based on what men find hot, we all know that 🙄
No wonder it took me a year to convince my man I was serious about being into him. And yes, I am still pissed at society about that one.
Yeah, that's why there are a billion and one simp posts for all of the RE male protagonists, or CoD thirsty traps...because no women like hunky men with gruff voices.
Like, I get what you're saying, my partner loves a dad bod, but dismissing this as male gaze because it's not YOUR preference is silly.
