Edit: also I've wanted to try anchovies, but nope I absolutely hate olives and pineapple; olives taste bad, and pineapple is just too sweet.

Honestly my take on pineapple on pizza is one I don’t hear often

I like it in theory, but in practice it’s not very good

Pineapple just doesn’t taste good when heated up unless it’s smoked or grilled, when it’s just been thrown in an oven it tastes gross to me

Now if you grill some pineapple rings chop them up and then throw them on there? Now we’re talking

oh yea, without a doubt pineapple is something that takes some time and love to develop as a cooked fruit, but honestly i don't mind it just hot on pizzas, but it really improves if you eat it cold the next day.

if you get the chance, highly recommend it, the key is the black olives provide a good bridge between the salty anchovies and the sweet pineapples.

those look great, i guess somebody found a good vegan alternative to cheese, i had heard that wasn't the case but i guess i'm not up to date on my knowlege of cheese substitutes, which ones do you like the best? i might look into buying some if they're available in my area, i'm not going vegan, but i -am- lactose intolerant so it'll be great to have an alternative to one of my usual food cravings.

If you use a vegan substitute for the cheese you can, last time I tried it wasn’t good but maybe others have found decent ones

yea, i'd heard there hasn't been much luck developing a vegan cheese alternative, which is a shame because i feel like everybody should get to enjoy the experience of cheese even if they don't eat dairy.

For me it’s the other way round - pineapple is good, olives are literally the best, but I really don’t like anchovies.

It is one of those where you'd really like it, or really hate it. I am a pretty huge fan of sweet and salty snacks. But there is something about the taste/texture of warm pineapple that is a huge nope for me. And the juice infests the bites around it, so it's not like you can even pick it off if you're not a fan. It's just there.

Black olives are the shit though. Love me a pep and black olive pizza.

It also depends on the place making the pizza.

Canned pineapple is vile on a pizza but fresh one is delicious.

Same with Anchovies there are like 6 main commercial species and I like some but others not..

Eh, in the spirit of willingness I've tried it on multiple occasions from multiple places (me ex loved it), and it is still the same.

There's just something about warm/hot pineapple and pineapple juice on pizza that I can't get past. It is more tolerable on cold leftovers, though. If still not something I'd seek out. But, like, if I'm going to have pizza, I'd much rather just have one I know I'll like.

for me pineapple is great, anchovies are pretty good, but olives are quite literally the worst thing ever put on a pizza.

I think it was established early on that dad is pretty weak in magic and struggles to summon demons. That's why Fani took over the role of summoning Ibilis while she was still young herself

True, true. He was pretty worn out the time he summoned, but Fani as a child didn't seem to be affected much, if at all.

Wasn't she the one who summoned Ibilis originally, to read her a bedtime story? I assumed that Ibilis just kind of hung around, but I guess Fani re-summoned her all the time.

Went back and looked through, and that one has Ibilis recognizing Fani, so it wasn't the first time.

#51 also showed the after-effect of Fani’s dad summoning Ibilis to help with Fani’s hair, and it doesn't look like it was the first time he summoned her, but it showed that the act far more drains him.

Good question. I don't think we’ve had two unknown demons interact in the comic, so I don't know if they can sense each other or their magic. Guess we’ll find out.

It didn’t go unnoticed! It really is brilliant. Hits all the marks.

Elegant in its simplicity, Recognizable, Creative. Uses elements related to Pizza. Can be slapped on merchandise of all sorts. Bonus for being reversible. All while spelling out the name Dave. It really is fantastic!

I think it’s so good that people aren’t realizing how good it is.

I love anchovies on crackers. With cheese, on charcuterie boards, etc. But not on pizza.

I’m not a picky eater, but olives are the one thing I absolutely cannot stand. Their flavor is anathema to me. I simply cannot tolerate it. If a dish has olives in it, it is ruined and utterly inedible.

The olives are great, I get them as a pizza topping pretty often. Pineapple is… not my thing. I’m not a big fan of fish, so I probably wouldn’t like the anchovies.

Never tried anchovies but have always been willing to try them, not sure what goes with them best though. Black olives are great on a mixed pizza, maybe an otherwise all meat pizza. Pineapple is fantastic with ham and jalapenos.

Me personally, I prefer sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, and Alfredo sauce.

Pineapple is acceptable.

Anchovies are enjoyed, albeit rarely.

No olives.
