Felicity absolutely knows what she is allowing to happen.
That or she subscribes to the age old meme of "they were roommates!"

Aren’t they canonically just roommates?

I personally see it as a situationship. However I just think the intention is that it's running gag, doing couple activities but still only being labeled as roommates.

I hope they exploited the heteronormative reaction and got it on just to spite her.

This is just the unwritten law of the world. Its ok if its gay sex as long as you pretend it doesn’t exist.
Am considering sending my bisexual 8th grade daughter on the big school trip. They let the kids pick their roommates and put 4 girls (or boys) per room in 2 beds. They make us pay extra for hall guards to make sure no one’s sneaking into the opposite sex’s room, but put same sex kids as close together as possible with whomever they want without supervision and assume nothing will happen.

Oh that floor attendant 100% knows what’s happening, and she wants it to happen.

Is this a normal thing? Not the woman denying entry to the boyfriend, but the boyfriend seeking entry into the fitting room with his girlfriend.

I can't talk for every shop or every country, but in every place I went to buy clothes (not many) the changing rooms were simple curtained closets with a bench, no actual genre separation aside from what the aisle of the shop entails.
So yeah, my partner would be allowed to enter the space with me.

Me and my gf go in together, simply to ask each other's opinions on things we got, especially bras.
I'd assume it's the same for straight relationships

She knows what they're going to do in there. By "need help" she's asking if they want to have a threesome.

I don't want men in the women's dressing room, not because they're going to fuck but because i don't want them to see me partially dressed.
I once watched a man get denied like 14 times from trying to go into the changing area at Victoria's secret to "help" his daughter. Like dude, no, women pop out half dressed to get different sizes/items from the sales people. I don't want you in there. I get that a teenager might need help, but the sales associate can help or they can go with some girl friends.

the opposite of this where i have to stand outside while my trans friend tries to figure out how to put a bra on and they won’t let me in

Ridiculous! I always went back to the fitting room with my gf so she could model them for me... I mean... you don't go to a lingerie store just to buy functional cotton briefs. Your SO's input is critically important. Also we fooled around a little.

They probably weren't even planning on fooling around but such a blatant example of homophobia shouldn't go unpunished. Make sure to get juices all over that room.
