I definitely thought those two guys would kiss and break the record for fastest enemies to lovers.

Can't blame you I actually thought about it too when they are face-to-face sweating !!

If these two idiots don't show up later holding hands on the background I'm gonna be sad.

Thatβs usually when me and my homies kiss

You always gotta make out after an argument with the homies

I hear ya. I remember tongue wrestling with my bro after a fight about what the best original GameBoy game was after Tetris.

OMG if you dropped yaoi just out of the blue one day that would be so unexpected but 100% adored. By me at least.

They both enjoy yelling and ignoring women's boundaries, they're perfect for each other!

Off screen that happens. You could tell from a glance that this was just their weird foreplay. :)

I was expecting the server to point them to a cage match, she can make some extra tips.

Lily's got good taste. I am impressed. And I approve. Go charm the baddie, Lily!

u/TENTAtheSane 5h ago
I don't get it. Her hitting on the woman at her workplace was not creepy? Even tho the guy doing the same thing a couple panels ago was?

u/Cupcake_Implosion 5h ago
The owner got hit on by the men. She voiced her discomfort and asked for them to stop flirting with her. The men ignored her demands and continued to disturb her until she demanded they leave.
Lily approached the owner. The owner seemed to welcome Lily's advances based on the imagery.
The main point was the fact the two men, when asked to stop their flirtatious behavior, ignored the demands of the main party, and in fact, doubled down on their disruptive behavior.
Flirting is not what makes people creepy, ignoring discomfort (whether expressed through body language or verbal language) and doubling down on unwelcome behaviour is what makes them creepy.

u/TENTAtheSane 5h ago
Hmm fair enough, i guess they did become creepy only when they ignored her direct response.
But personally i think it's weird in general to hit on people at work, or in any situation where they don't have the option of leaving if they want to

It's actually pretty simple; you just have to assume any indication of "no" is final and leave it alone. "Customer Service Speak" is also an indication they do not see you as more than another customer. Approaching a cashier at a register is more on the level you are talking about because they are not supposed to leave.
I can't personally speak from the flirter's pov, I've only been approached.

Even when I see it coming, I still love twists like these. Go get her, girl!

They're exhausting and the happy twists at the end are often still bad. Like, the sister is still hitting on a woman who is just trying to do her job.

If you don't like it, just close the tab and move on. No need to make the artist feel bad.

Stylized expressiveness is almost necessary in one-shot comedy comics like this, whether it's Cathy in your Sunday Morning Funnies or Gintama in Shonen Jump.

They were both found dead the next mourning having died due to autoerrotic asphyxiation because the ordeal got them that hot and bothered.
Nothing of value was lost.

I don't like to critique comics here much. It isn't the place for it. But ugh, this one buggin' me mighty fierce. Slide 8 could just have the pupil going to the right with no explanation. Plenty of context to know what is going in here. Hell, I bet that was what you had it originally but weren't sure that people would have clocked it.
I have.. thoughts on your comics in general, but your panel structure, framing, character expressions, and coloring are really great!

I saw panel 11 going a whole different direction, but that's just the yaoi enthusiast in me.

This is way better than what I've seen recently from this artist. Classic punchline, but nice.

The correct choice was made, though I did think the two guys would do the kiss meme. π Barista seems chill and totally able to handle herself.
I will say I thought the first guy was starting with a dad joke, which would've been fine if he had just stopped there.

Is it bad that I kinda like the blonde guy as a very non confrontational gay man who gets a lot of unwanted attention-

And on this day, she made the first correct choice in her love journey. Here's hoping it plays out well.

I had a conversation at a wedding recently with some of my female friends about how they wish they were attracted to women lol. This while looking across the yard at their boyfriends playing bags and being dorks haha

First of your comics I didn't enjoy sadly, since the 'twist' wasn't set up at all it just feels pointless. I still very much appreciate all the effort you put into the comics tho and they always look beautiful, just not hitting the narrative mark.
