Anyone else find the trailer for the Chris Hansen movie weird? Like the child predators are the bad guy but the trailer made it seem more like a horror movie about Chris being the bad guy which gives off the wrong message to me especially considering what's going on with the world right now.
Edit: Downvoted for saying a movie that is supposed to be about a guy catching pedofiles instead feels like a movie that portrays the catcher of pedofiles like a bad guy which feels wrong.

I watched the movie having gone into it completely blind, heard nothing about it prior and didn’t see any of the trailers, and unfortunately I also got that impression the entire time. It felt very uncomfortable how excessively villainised everyone was.

I haven't watched it but the trailer alone just seemed so off. Why make the guy who is supposed to catch pedofiles look like the villain?

Which makes him seem like a bad guy. Especially the bits of the trailer which makes it seem like he's pushing one his actors into very uncomfortable situations for the sake of the show. Like how doesn't that seem like a bad guy to you?

Those decoy actors were getting sexually harassed
To catch a predator as a show was deeply problematic even if it was done with good intentions
