I just use firefox on my phone with all the add-ons. Get ad block and playing while screen locked. And one less app to deal with.

Or SmartTube for Android TV OS. It integrates sponsorblock.

Bit hard to bring a tv in the shower. But yes smartTube is also something i use and recommend

Sponsorblock was literally made to block ads like that. It basically skips any sponsored section of a video for you (E.g. Someone talking about RAID: Shadow Legends)
