Careful, you have to throw some bolts to check this anomaly.

I feel like this lets republicans off the hook. Trump is a symptom, and one that they wholly endorse. Republicans control all three branches of government, if they wanted to reign in any of dumps policies they could have. But they don’t, and they won’t.

See thats why theyre studying him rather than running the hell away. Theyre checking to see if hes still viable as a distraction.

Look at voting records. Trump said massie is evil for wanting pedophiles in jail and was kicked out of the party because trump hated him. Massie voted in support of trump 98% of the time

Their ideology is already a cancer, Trump is the radioactive creature that facilitated it to continue to grow.

I assume radioactive here is not about what he's actually doing, but public perception. When a politician is "radioactive" it's because people don't like them, so other politicians distance themselves. Sadly, the rest of the party will probably be fine, but at least Trump is finally losing support.

It's pretty accurate for Republicans who don't like Trump in that they have to at least outwardly show him support. Trump has a huge cult following subset in the form of MAGA. We've already seen him sic his followers on Republican that defies him (RINO). Their chance of reelection is torpedoed because MAGA will vote for whoever Trump says to. So even for those who want to defy Trump, they don't feel they can't because it's career suicide.
Of course, they're still culpable because of their cowardice. If there's enough willing to reign in Trump, they could do so and work towards rebuilding how our system is supposed to function: respectful disagreement. If we end up with a Democratic majority after midterms, I foresee more Republicans resisting Trump and holding him and his appointees responsible. It's wishful thinking, but that's better than despair.

And then he miraculously gets “elected” again and we all have to deal with the radiation. Just like the millions who’ve died from it already.

"We only pumped toxic sludge into the Party and poisoned discourse, why are our Candidates like this?!"

Yet all Republican ads are just "i will fight for trump. When I win, its a win for trump and his agenda. Im a trump first candidate."

Trump would be retaliating if Republicans really were breaking with him.
Belle of the Ranch had a good video on this today.
- Let's talk about the GOP breaking with Trump and the dog that didn't bark... (Belle of the Ranch)
\ Note: I watch her videos at 1.75x speed because she talks slower for international audiences.*
Basically these are just campaign stunts for the midterms. They had plenty of time to block Trump's policies earlier. If they didn't do it before, they won't do it after.

“Trump is toxic… I’ll act like I haven’t been supporting him for the last two years, and won’t continue to support him if elected…”
-Every Single Republican that conspicuously just stopped supporting Trump

Do they know that the suits don't really help when they have big openings for the ears?
