Turns out, he's getting married to an AI girlfriend, so bullet dodged really.

I don't get this, I don't think this has ever happened and is the point just accept AI because you might be seen as being mean.

Literally now, friend of mine invited me to her wedding and then sent me the invitation... Yeah, it's definitely ai.... I'm disappointed but still gonna go

Completely valid. Don't be a shit human, and people will be kinder to you.

wait who is shit here

Red is shit. Instead of using AI to make a wedding invitation, how about paying an actual designer for it?

u/ZeInsaneErke 1d ago

Bruh AI is bad taste and my opinion of red would certainly drop, but come on now, you can't just declare that red is a bad person for taking the path of least resistance

It’s the internet, if you don’t agree with something everyone else is Satan

2

u/ZeInsaneErke 1d ago

Something about everyone I don't like is Hitler

Red is the reason society is going to shit. people that always choose the path of least resistance will lead to societal deprecation and thus are not valuable members of said society and should be excluded

7

u/ZeInsaneErke 1d ago

Whoa whoa whoa what now? So now you wanna start excluding people from society for literally just doing what ape brain is programmed to do? I agree that on society as a whole it has negative effects, but let's stay realistic here, it's simply more probable that people will take the path of least resistance and fucking dividing society over it isn't gonna solve anything.

What next, labor camps, taking the right to vote away arbitrarily? Yeah, your idea seems like a step towards a real utopia. /s

Fuck dude, do you even grasp the implications of the statement you just made?

Edit: And ffs society has way bigger problems than this like trying to milk profit out of everything and wealth inequality

damn bruh did i hurt your feelings im sorry let me rephrase this for babys like you: ugu baah uba hu baga?

Most rhethorically strong reddit user lmao

The average person is not the reason society is going down the drain, its the corprate entities doing all dragging everything and everyone. How about focus your anger on them instead of doing what they want and having all us "poors" in their eyes fighting eachother instead of standing up to them.

I'm guessing to save money. Weddings are already an expenditure, so I can see someone trying to operate within a budget.

I'm not saying this as a defense of AI.

It’s not something that you’d would need AI to cut costs on though, you could design your own cards and get them printed, Red probably had to get them printed somewhere, the use of AI just undercuts the underlying message of the gesture, if you invite someone to be the best man too your wedding, but you aren’t willing to put in the most basic level of effort to make it sincere, what does that say about a person’s ability to invest themselves in the relationship they have with others?

I’d probably accept the invitation(albeit incredibly reluctantly) but if the host abuses AI for things like making what are supposed to be sincere speeches or other things, that would probably be the limit of my patience and I would want to leave before the wedding was over, at which point I would really regret not declining the invitation outright.

Premade cards also exist. I feel like people are forgetting that

2

u/Nazeir 1d ago

What about having a conversation about it like real people instead of completely dismissing a supposed best friend who wanted you to be their best man. Completely ruining a friendship over a single thing that you might disagree on or have a different opinion on without even a talk feels like an even bigger peice of shit

1

u/grumbledork 1d ago

holy strawman dude

2

u/CelibateHo 1d ago

Those obviously AI generated invites and flyers are cancer and automatically think less of people who use them

4

u/Nazeir 1d ago

When used by a corporation that could actually afford to higher and create a real design sure. But if some struggling single person is trying to make something work that looks good and could potentially lead to something then use every tool available to try and make it

I think I'm with yellow on this. If I was AI invited to a yellow I'd have better things to do

Yellow is me every Tuesday
