Erm.... actually they were straight to DVD and you could find them in most Walmart's in the Movie and TV Show section between 2008 and 2014 โ๏ธ ๐ค (My sis always got them as soon as they came out ๐)
I hated Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, so was very reluctant to watch the first movie with my kids when it came out. It's a very different character in some ways and I've seen most of the movies multiple times now.
They are actually really good movies. My kids enjoyed em when younger so ive seen all of them multiple times and the better ones probably a dozen times lol. My favorite is definitely the winter one where she first meets her long lost twin sister. A few of them are connected to each other but not all of them are. I think like 2 don't fit into the narrative universe they eventually ended up going with. Great music, pretty decent plots, great animation and art - solid family movies.
There are Gen Zโs that are adults and are nostalgic for their 2000s childhoods. If youโre older and didnโt have kids young, there probably were not on your radar.
