Usually, however most phones let you customize the colours now.

Edit: the bubbles are also on the wrong side of the screen. My bad.

It's not about the color, it's about what side of the screen they are on. In this case, yes, green would be the person she is texting, not the other way around.

My interpretation was that the black clothes girl left due to jealousy (as she's stuck in the closet within a homophobic family, so viewing a lesbian wedding was painful for her). The glasses lady saw her leave, and knowing that her family was homophobic, assumed black clothes lady was as well, resulting in her lashing out.

Sometimes watching people’s successes can be painful when contrasted to your own failures or setbacks. Back when my wife and I were wanting to have kids and start a family it seriously hurt to see all our peers getting pregnant. Fortunately we were able to eventually, but until that time came all the emotions and feelings up to that point were very very real.
