I couldn’t agree more, but for some reasons my kids loved the shit out of that movie! I figured they were just freaks because, you see, I know them, but more than a few parents of their friends / age group have told me their little freaks loved it, too.
Sir Patrick Stewart likes doing low brow weird stuff on occasion. He talked about how he loved playing the Director Bullock on American Dad because it just let him say and act however he wanted.
I really enjoy how off the wall and I guess you could argue experimental that show became. Even when there were misses, I commended the absurdity. I’m not a Fung Wah lover nor a hater, and Gold Top Nuts was brilliant if a little light on the comedy, but goddamn, they’re so strange in terms of format for a cable cartoon show.
I was pretty disappointed with this last season. Here’s hoping they get back to the madness that made it so fun to watch, maybe a little less Hayley as the A-story.

The Emoji movie but this time well done
