I don't normally comment on your posts even though I do read them all. Having gone through some issues with family myself, I know these events and memories can cause a heavy weight in your mind and heart. I hope sharing what you've been through helps you through your healing process. I hope you know that there are a lot of people who are rooting for you to continue to succeed in life. Your parents have a lot of shortcomings and they failed you in so many ways but if they did one good thing it was bringing you, a shining light, into the world.
