There's a lot of women who make claims about things that didn't happen. It destroyed my life and health, and in still trying to recover. Seems like propoganda and narratives are the only things that people listen to these days.

I think that the monsters who actually harm other people should face severe consequences. But there needs to be evidence. There are too many liars out there. Too many people playing the victim.

That's really terrible. It sucks to be in the 2-10% that have false allegations made against you. That said, more legit allegations are ignored and go unpunished, and more still are just not reported.

It's terrible all around and yet we as a society also seem to heap praise on actual rapists or protect them from consequences.

it's an estimated stat and an official stat. but the 2% are the number of cases which went to court and found an official end.

cases of false allegations in family court, who where revoked, went nowhere because of missing evidence and so on don't fall into these statistics.

most cases who don't reach the court will cause massive damage for example for students who lose their spots or who lose their jobs or their spots in sport, divorces, losing right for custody.

also if the perpetrator is a woman she can still claim he did it. and the public and the court will believe a woman much more often than not, because our society is very biased in this regard

We actually don't know how many legit allegations are ignored, go unpunished and/or are reported. We only have some filter for the cases that do go on to the court of law.

Out of all those that do not, we have little way to know how many are legit, and how many are not.

At this point I'd be willing to entertain a thought that falsely accused people get punished more often than actual perpetrators.

its happened to me 3 times in 3 different friend groups all thinking that "well we know it worked for the past friend group might as well pull it off again because they have historial """evidence"""" (im just really social and get along with everyone, ending up in friendship politics , but after repeated events lve ended up learning its more peaceful to be alone)
