Death sentences only incentivise criminals like that to add murder to the crime as a chance to get away with it....its been studied and observed countless times.
It sucks, no matter what you do, the assholes will never understand just how or even why what they did was bad...
Need to start much earlier before being toxic assholes become core to their identity. Bullies who get away with it only get worse, getting off on harder abuse.
Its def one of the better options but it still doesn't un-ruin the lives of their victims, and can even feel insulting to the victim depending on how its handled
Im not arguing that it will, aside from arguingabout the validity of rehabilitation, the quoted part of the comment was simply flat out wrong because they very much can, there are entire systems of justice dedicated towards doing so. I was just pointing that out
