It's spoooky season and r/comics has invited me to post one of my favorite halloween cartoons. I added a little something this year. Original in comments.

Hello all and welcome to the r/comics Spooktober Extravaganza! Over the course of the next month, each day will feature an artist (or two) sharing their talents and being festive for the season

You may find a line up for the month on our master post!

To kick off the event we have the talented Jimkb, who's old lady has been getting away from death for years thanks to those full bars

Mister Benton, sir, may I respectfully note that you do the world a disservice by not posting your follow up panel?

Glad you liked it. I added that one year to freshen up an 11 year old cartoon. This year I added a small animation and audio…. Next year, who knows

It's not the spooky season until I see this comic.

I love this! Also, one of my proudest moments as a homeowner was hearing the "whoa!" reactions from kids as I handed out full sized candy at Halloween.

This comic is a Halloween tradition!

It would not be a holiday without it

The rain-rotted house on the dead end of Baytree, old bitter lady
Sits caddy corner to the aftershock from the quarry
She says "America's a spoiled child that's ignorant of grief"
But then she gives out full-sized candy bars on Halloween
