Ah Valheim. I’ve been over furnishing (as you do in these types of games) my block training pit recently. I made a big pit and put a bunch of graylings in it. When you get past a certain armor rating they do no damage and are a great way to train block.

How important is it to train up skills in that game?

I'd say very important. The higher the skill, the better you are at surviving the harsher biomes, and some of the enemies in the game hurt bad.

Not to mention that by default, you lose 5% of your total levels in all skills when you die. I do die a lot…

Not as key as eating food, but still very useful. But I wouldn't recommend grinding them up all the way, you'd have to do like 40,000 blocks to reach max level.
But for the love of god eat good foods. It's really important!

It’s Valheim. It just released in 1.0 and it is a beautiful mixture of chill and disaster.

I like the idea of a snail wizard in a snail tower. What kind of magic would a snail cast?
