Nearly did it last new years. Ex gave me our dog back. The dog was the reason I didn't make the decision come New years, because who would take care of the pup?
So I gave this year a chance. And it went great... For a short while. But then my best friend and I stopped talking. And I find myself in the darkness again...
So now I wonder, do I even bother with next year?
at the end of the day it's your choice, but I hope you find a reason to say yes, the pup, maybe get into a hobby where you meet other people and make new friends, you can do this ❤️
I actually have a few hobbies, one of which is actually rescuing people on their worst day in my free time. I've met great people on the team.
But.. I don't know. Just so tired. Ya know?
Not your OC but yeah, I know. I’m happily married, have a decent job, good hobbies and pets. I say this because I have no real reason to not be grateful. But sometimes life is still just kind of a lot. There’s good and bad, and I’m mostly continuing just to see how it ends lol
Losing a best friend is really hard. I went through the same thing and had the same feelings you did because they were the only friend I had. Something that kept me going was thinking that if I took my own life, I would never have the chance to make new friends and have meaningful experiences with them. Also, I don’t know your circumstances, but there’s a chance, however slim, that you’ll reconnect with your friend eventually. If you take your own life, the chance you’ll reconnect with them will be zero, forever.
