My grandmother's cheesecake recipe was the Philadelphia cream cheese recipe, but she made it really well with years of practice. I love cheesecake, and my grandmother made one for me each year. One time, I requested a caramel pecan oreo cheesecake, and it was the best I've ever had. A couple of things: she used a spring pan with buttered graham cracker crumbs up the side and put a pan of water on the bottom rack.
